Betty Roque
Betty Roque has been a dedicated teacher of piano for nearly a decade. Born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, Betty began her piano studies at the age of eight. She graduated the National Conservatory of Music of Cuba in 2014. Betty performed with numerous ensembles throughout Cuba and became a sought-after accompanist in her country accompanying students of the Benny More School of Art and the National School of Art in Havana. Betty is committed to cultivating musical talent within the San Antonio community and looks forward to continuing her work with Northside Music.
Daniel Maldonado
Daniel Maldonado was born in Texas and raised in Mexico. Daniel’s musical upbringing was heavily influenced by popular music in two languages. By the time he graduated high school, Daniel could already play several instruments and was deeply interested in pursuing a musical career. During his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M International University (Laredo, TX) in 2015, Daniel won first place for the Laredo International Piano Competition.
